I grew up in the heart of the mountains in Whitefish, Montana. At a young age I began to enjoy the outdoors and test the waters of endurance sports, although much more for the social aspect than to push my limits. At The University of Montana while studying History and Geography, I joined the triathlon club team. Since I’ve enjoyed an incredible journey that has involved nearly every type of endurance racing. For 5 years I focused on triathlon and raced at the professional level for the Zoot Ultra professional triathlon team and Hammer Nutrition. More recently I have taken a step back from racing to enjoy some adventure of the beaten path and focus on my career at The Cycling House. I started at The Cycling House as a guide 8 years ago only 2 years shy of The Cycling House’s inception. My work at The Cycling House is both challenging and fulfilling as the camp director. The job as allowed me to travel and run and ride in some amazing places throughout the United States and world. My passion for the outdoors and endurance sports is met on a daily basis and I still enjoy pushing myself to the limits in an Ironman, ultramarthon or Ultra mountain bike race.
